Crispy Salami, Burrata, Fig and Hot Honey Toast

Ingredients
- 12 slices Margherita® Salami, fried
- 4 slices sourdough bread, artisan
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 8 oz fresh burrata
- 4 Tbsp hot honey
- 4 figs, sliced
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme

- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Prepare 4 slices of fresh sourdough bread on parchment-lined sheet tray. Drizzle bread with olive oil and fresh thyme. Place bread into oven for 3 to 4 minutes, or until slightly toasted. Remove bread from oven and place on counter to cool.
- While bread cools, slightly drop salami in fryer for 30 seconds before removing onto paper towel to dry. Slice fig for service.
- Assemble toast by smearing 2 oz of fresh burrata on toasted herb sourdough bread. Place sliced figs standing up into burrata. Alternate figs with crispy pepperoni. Finish toast with 1 tablespoon drizzle of hot honey.
