Brisket Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 cup baked beans
  • 12 slices Smithfield® Smoke’NFast® Brisket
  • 8 slices Smithfield® Pre-Cooked Bacon
  • 4 pretzel roll buns
  • 4 Tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 2 Tbsp everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 white onion, sliced into rings
  • 4 slices of American cheese

Preparation

  1. Brush tops and bottoms of burger buns with egg white. Liberally apply everything bagel seasoning and bake for five minutes to set the seasoning. Remove from the oven and cool.
  2. Sear the slices of brisket in a pan to lightly caramelize the outside and warm through. Place bacon in a skillet to crisp lightly.
  3. Fry the onion rings until golden brown. Set aside.
  4. Warm baked beans until simmering.
  5. To assemble each sandwich, place a slice of cheese on the bottom bun and top with brisket, one tablespoon of barbecue sauce, ¼ cup baked beans, two slices of bacon and two onion rings. Repeat steps for other sandwiches.
