Orange Pepper Pulled Pork Sliders
Serves: 2-3
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 12 oz. cooked pulled pork
- Orange Sauce (recipe below)
- 6 slider buns
- Asian Greens Slaw (recipe below)
Orange Sauce
- 1 cup orange juice
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. red chili flakes
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. water
- Orange zest from 1 orange
Asian Greens Slaw
- ½ cup red cabbage, shredded
- ¼ cup green onions, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds, toasted
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 oz. rice wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- In saucepan, heat up olive oil and then add in pulled pork.
- Once pork is hot and pulled apart nicely, remove from heat, add in Orange Sauce, and toss to coat pork evenly.
- Place pulled pork onto slider buns, and top with Asian Greens Slaw.
- For Orange Sauce, in medium pot, add orange juice, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and red chili flakes. Heat for 3 minutes. In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch with water to form paste. Add to Orange Sauce and whisk together. Continue to cook for 5 minutes, until mixture begins to thicken. Once sauce is thickened, remove from heat and add orange zest.
- For Asian Green Slaw, mix all ingredients together in bowl, and season.
