Ramen with bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 packet instant ramen
  • 1 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 slices Smithfield® Pre-Cooked Bacon, crumbled
  • 1 chive, halved
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • ½ oz carrots, sliced
  • Lime wedge, for garnish
  • Cilantro, minced, for garnish
  • 1 ½ Tbsp green onion, sliced

Preparation

  1. Boil water per instructions on the ramen packet. Add the seasoning packet and fish sauce.
  2. Add carrots to the broth to cook until tender. Add ramen noodles and crumbled bacon. Cover per instructions.
  3. Stir in the mushrooms and green onions into the broth.
  4. Pour noodles, carrots, mushrooms, bacon and broth into a bowl. Garnish with lime wedge, cilantro, chives and green onions.
