Midwest Smokehouse Melt

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Kretschmar® Roast Beef (Top Round London Broil), thinly sliced
  • 2 slices Kretschmar® Swiss Cheese
  • 3 oz Smithfield® Smoke’NFast® Pot Roast, warmed and shredded
  • 1 toasted hoagie roll or soft Midwest-style bun
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 oz onions, caramelized
  • 1 oz mushrooms, sauteed
  • 1 Tbsp horseradish mayo
  • 1 Tbsp beef jus (optional) Horseradish Mayo
  • 3 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 cup prepared horseradish
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Preparation

  1. Toast roll with butter.
  2. Warm roast beef and pot roast together. Optionally, drizzle with touch of jus.
  3. Layer meat onto roll.
  4. Add caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms and cheese.
  5. Melt cheese under salamander or broiler.
  6. Finish with horseradish mayo.

  1. Mix ingredients and hold cold.
