Seared Iowa Breakfast Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 2 slices Smithfield® Bacon, chopped
- 4 Smithfield Pork Chops
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 medium onion, halved and thinly sliced
- ½ cup chicken stock
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp dried marjoram (or ½ tsp dried sage)

1. Fry bacon in large skillet over medium heat. Remove with slotted spoon, drain and reserve.
2. Salt and pepper the pork chops.
3. Brown chops on both sides in bacon drippings.
4. Cover pork chops with onion. Add the stock, Worcestershire sauce and marjoram (or sage).
5. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 20 minutes, or until chops are cooked through.
6. Transfer pork chops onto platter and raise heat to high under skillet. Cook briefly until sauce and stock have reduced.
7. Spoon sauce over pork chops, sprinkle with bacon and serve.
