  • 2 cups plum jelly
  • 1 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste

Preparation

  1. Heat slow-roasting oven to 250°F. Sprinkle desired amount of five-spice powder on all sides of ribs. Place ribs in single layer on foil-lined shallow baking pans. Slow cook ribs 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours until tender.
  2. Meanwhile, combine all remaining ingredients in saucepan; bring to a boil. Drizzle sauce over ribs halfway through cooking.
